Air France / KLM — $250 or $400 back, expiry now confirmed May 31
This is the main update today. After three tracking cycles with the expiry date listed as TBD, Frequent Miler confirmed: both Air France/KLM Amex Offer tiers expire May 31, 2026 — nine days from today. 5
Two tiers are available:
- $250 back on $1,250 or more (20% return on the minimum qualifying charge)
- $400 back on $2,000 or more (also 20% at minimum)
Both require booking through the US-facing sites (AirFrance.us or KLM.com) or the US mobile apps, on flights departing from the US, charged in USD. The payment must clear by May 31; the actual travel date can be later.
Excluded from the offer: KLM package deals, City Pass Amsterdam, hotel bookings, car rental, ground transport, tours, airport transfers, equipment services, Shop@KLM purchases, mileage purchases, lounge fees, and certain branded services (Air France Music, Saphir, Shopping).
One note from Frequent Miler: taxes and fees on Flying Blue award tickets — which tend to run higher than typical award redemptions — can count toward the $1,250 or $2,000 threshold. 5 That makes the minimum spend threshold more reachable than it might appear for cardholders redeeming award tickets.

The Best Western offer had also been tracked without a confirmed expiry date. That's now resolved: July 31, 2026, per Frequent Miler. 6 No urgency required.
The offer pays $50 back on $250 or more at participating Best Western and SureStay properties in the US and Canada. Room rate taxes and applicable fees count toward the $250 threshold; gift cards and points redemptions do not. Thirteen specific properties are excluded — the full list is in the offer terms.
If you have Best Western nights coming up before July, add this offer and forget about it until the stay. Cardholders with multiple household cards showing this offer can request that the hotel split the room charges across two cards to trigger two separate credits, provided the per-card charge each reaches $250.

A targeted Amex Offer for HushAI, a personal data removal service, has been circulating on r/AmexPlatinum since May 20: spend $550 and receive $550 back, valid through August 28. 7
Community reaction has been consistently negative. The top-voted comment — "These don't f---ing work.
